Large Chinese opium bed Dark red lacquered wood, woven rattan seat. Made in southern China, 19th century. Antique patina, beautiful signs of wear. Dimensions: W. 195 cm × D. 95 cm × H. 60 cm A traditional piece of furniture once used for relaxation and opium smoking; today, it makes a superb coffee table, bench, or decorative interior accent.
