Memories of Valois Published at the expense of an amateur, 1946 A folio-sized volume of 164 pp., full burgundy morocco leather, decorated cover depicting a landscape with a horse-drawn carriage, ribbed spine, gilt title and small illustration, gilt top edge. Slipcase. Binding signed “Laugier Aix.” Various color illustrations in the text based on works by Leroy. Printed in an edition of 300 copies. This copy is numbered 47, with a black-and-white plate showing the thirty-one copper engravings and a sketch. (very good condition)
