Idisori, Bishop of Seville, *Historia sive Chronicon* of the Goths, Vandals, and Swabians Paris, published by Sebastian Nivellius, 1579 A folio volume of 959 numbered pages, full marbled calfskin, spine with broad raised bands, gilded and decorated panels, title label in red leather; all edges speckled. A lovely woodcut vignette on the title page; colophons; two pages (“Thesaurus Dictionum et Sententiarum Iuris civilis” and “Liber Sententiarum et Regularum”) illustrated with a large architectural composition featuring figures. Old handwritten marks in ink. (worn binding; foxing)
