Inside: a handwritten note from Mr. Edouard Chaix-Bryan, a framer in Marseille, to Lucien Clergue: “Marseille, July 17, 67. Mr. L. Clergue. Sir, I had the pleasure, through the good offices of Ms. Joubareau (?) and Ms. F. Magnan, of working on the mounting of your photographs and of installing them in St. Maximin. Unfortunately, I was unable to reach you during the opening, as you were very busy that evening; I would therefore like to offer my services for other projects and future exhibitions [...].
