First volume of 171 pp. featuring Charles Baudelaire's poems and Mariette Lydis's hors-texet copper-engraved illustrations in two tones (black and red); second volume featuring all the engravings + a copper plate for printing one of the illustrations. One of 22 first editions (number 19) on Lana paper, including a copperplate, a suite on Chine, a suite on tinted Malacca, and a suite on Lana printed in Bistre. Handwritten letter signed by Mariette Lydis: "Pour Monsieur Medinger, hommage de Mariette Lydis".
