Six-leaf folding screen painted in polychrome on paper enhanced with gold leaf, depicting a dwelling depicted in a bird's-eye view using the fukinuki yatai technique, partially emerging from clouds, in a springtime garden by the water, in bloom with irises, peonies, primroses and camellias, and animated by numerous birds, most of them in pairs, moving among trees and rocks, some of the latter imposing in the foreground; inside the house, a cat sleeps peacefully in front of raised blinds revealing a cherry tree in blossom; also in the foreground, faggots whose symbolism contributes to the atmosphere of peace and harmony that emanates from the screen.
