Twelve drawings, washes, watercolors Le Vent d'Arles, 1972 Large folio album in cloth-folded cover, including 11 (of 12) lithographs by Pablo Picasso printed by Mourlot in Paris; preface consisting of an excerpt from Jean Vilar's speech at the Palais des Papes in Avignon, May 1, 1970. Edition of 350 copies, including 50 HC. This one unnumbered. Handwritten annotation in pencil on cover signed by Lucien Clergue: "Offered by Jacqueline Picasso 1976 after Pablo's death. Missing one plate and description page. Lucien Clergue 19.08.1999". Beautiful plates (50 x 35 cm) in black and white or in color depicting reclining female nudes, couples, kisses, after works from 1969. Mourlot Paris stamp and SPADEM 1972 lithographed reproduction on verso of each plate. (very good condition; cover slightly stained; one lithographed plate and the description page missing very slightly soiled; beautiful colors)
