Dedication by the artist on the title page: "Pour Yolande [Clergue], la bonne fée de l'île d'Arles, qui transforme les grenouilles en artiste.... Kisses. F.J. le 6/12/03 J.J. Surian", with a colored pencil drawing of the Arènes d'Arles and a female character (Yolande Clergue) transforming a frog.
