Male Bulul figure - Philippines, Ifugao people, early-mid XXᵉ century. Hardwood with black ritual patina. H 75 cm. Standing male figure, hands resting on thighs, face stylized with geometric features characteristic of the Ifugao tradition. Carved from a single block, it represents the guardian spirit of rice and fertility, invoked to protect harvests and ensure household prosperity. Beautiful old patina, testimony to ritual offerings and traditional use.
