Luc HUEBER (1888-1974) Café de la Mauresse in 1810 Oil on canvas. Signed, titled lower right (Restorations) 172x347 cm Note: Luc HUEBER took part in the Salon des Jeunes Talents d'Alsace at the Orangerie, which devoted a retrospective to him in 1968. After apprenticing as a pastry chef in Strasbourg, he attended the Ecole des Arts Décoratifs, then the Royal Academy in Munich, before exhibiting at the Grande Chaumière in Paris. Strasbourg's Musée d'Art Moderne et Contemporain holds a large number of his works.
