Officer's flintlock rifle signed Luca Zugno. Flat-bodied flintlock with brass inlay and swan-neck hammer. Signed "LUCA ZUGNO" on the lower side. Double-register barrel, signed on the upper side "LAZZARINO COMMINAZZO" and small front sight. Carved walnut stock with chased brass fittings. Openwork counterplate and buttplate in finely chased brass decorated with a trophy of arms. Oxidation, cleaning. Total length: 100 cm Good mechanism ? Northern Italy, late 17th century. Category D weapon. -Luca Zugno, active between 1690 and 1725 in Gardone, not far from Brescia, Italy. -Lazarino Comminazzo, probably Fortunato. Born in 1634, signed "Lazarino Comminazzo" from 1660.
