Rebecca Felcey (20th century) Two armchairs in removable fab - Lot 38
Rebecca Felcey (20th century) Two armchairs in removable fabric and foam H. 68 W. 90 D. 88 cm Note: Designer and artistic director Rebecca Felcey founded the Portobello publishing house in 1998, after a dual training in Art History and Visual Arts. Her singular approach, between creation and selection, explores a design that is at once formal, sensitive and offbeat. Driven by a taste for drawing, the right proportions and the "beautiful accident", she signs pieces where rigor and spontaneity coexist - as shown by the Désordonnier bookcase or the Ad Vitam Tables series. Attached to a human-scale production, she values noble materials, essential lines and collaborations with publishers and emerging talents. At the same time, she works as a decorator, drawing on her listening skills, materials and made-to-measure solutions.
