Glazed earthenware tray from the South of France, 18th century, possibly Marseille (Saint-Jean du Désert) Octagonal in shape, contoured and gadrooned, with blue and white decoration in the center of a rosette in a medallion formed by a frieze of flowering lambrequins, the rim with two types of lambrequin motifs (minor restorations to rim, cracks and chips, chips) D: 35.5 cm Provenance: on the reverse, a label bearing the name Marguerite Greziaux (?), also inscribed in ink on the earthenware.
