Tubular vase with a wide ring at the top and a swollen base decorated with Islamic-inspired spirals. Proof in "sang de bœuf" lined glass on a white ground. Deeply carved decoration with spiral motif.
Signed on the reverse "Gallé modèle et décor déposés".

History: The small series of these wheel-cut vases appears on plate 37 of the album of models deposited with the Conseil des Prud'hommes de Nancy by Émile Gallé on May 14, 1895.
A comparable example is in the collection of the Museum für Angewandte Kunst in Cologne, inv. F 1443.
