Middle flat desk in rosewood, rosewood and fruitwood veneer. The rectangular top is sheathed in green leather and encircled by a bronze mould, the corners highlighted with rocaille clasps. It opens with three drawers, the central one slightly recessed, the other two boxed, and features identical simulated false drawers on the visitor's side. It stands on four cambered legs, underlined by leafy female faces.
