La Guerre 1914/1919 by Commandant Jean-Baptiste TOURNASSOUD (1866-1951), ex-director of the Service Photographique et Cinématographique de Guerre. Important collection of 150 double-tone phototypesetting plates, interestingly sent by the author to Mademoiselle de Colbert, president of the French Red Cross, and to Colonel de Colbert, at the time of the liberation of Villefranche on September 4, 1944. A good, complete copy of all the plates in this photographic monument to the Great War. Reinforced dust jacket, housed in a contemporary slipcase Boards: H. 31.5 cm - W. 24.5 cm
