STIELLER. Hand-Atlas. This complete German world atlas contains 83 double-page maps and an engraved title page (for a total of 84 sheets). The maps are presented with typical German craftsmanship and attention to detail. Many cards feature inserts. The maps are glued to a back strap, as in older atlases, so that the double sheets are continuous. Some of the maps are color lithographs. Complete with title page, map list and 10-page report at end. Folio, bound in original pebble cloth-covered boards with quarter leather spine and tips.
